Really want to start having some lessons after xmas, and think i'm gonna give Kingfisher equestrian a whirl.

Just wondered if anyone has had tuition here and what they thought of it? Also, what are the comps held there like? Are they more for these "all-singing, all-dancing neddies" or good for novices also?

done a couple of clinics there with the riding club, fab facilities, did some showjumping the other day, lovely indoor school with a fab surface and warm is outside on a nice surface, not done dressage yet as they have been on a saturday but very friendly, showjumping wasnt all singing and dancing needdies, not sure on the dressage, but they have a web if you google them and a link to pictures from their competitions!!

I am going there on monday night for a SJ clinic

Hi, I can't comment on the lessons side as I haven't had any there, but the dressage side I would say is good for novices. There are normally one or two all singing all dancing, then I would say, normally the rest are average/novice horses. Very friendly laid back atmosphere. Usually warm up indoor, test outdoor and there's often only 3 or 4 people warming up at a time, so plenty of room and as the outdoor is the other side of the stables to warm up/parking it's very quiet when you do your test.

The facilities are wonderful and the shows are friendly and perfect for everyone.

Teaching wise - as long as you have no "problems" with your horse and you Sally's fine just a lack of experience with her young age. If it is simply a matter of progessing its great. Many people go for a few lessons then move on. The PC use to use her as well.
