10.20 seconds to cover a furlong, and reckoned to be faster than Frankel? Did anyone watch the race? I was convinced at four out, Toronado had it sewn up. I was wrong!!
At four out, the commentator said "They're still sitting there" and they were. At three out, he said "They'll have to go soon", and then a second later "There they go, ........ they're now off".
I really thought that he'd left it too late. Such a turn of foot. I'm not really in to flat racing, but that was one of the most spectacular finishes that I've seen for some while. Toronado is a most impressive horse, but Kingman? I'm struggling for superlatives.
