Does anyone know where Kings Master is standing? (Or if he's still alive?!) Can't find him through any of the usual websites, including the IHB ... help!
Thanks CastleMouse! Do they have a website, do you know? When we were in Ireland in the autumn he was really highly recommended by a number of breeders and producers, so we wanted to try and get a look at him when we come over in the spring, with a view to using him on my mare ...
It would be a more 'old fashioned' establishment, so no website. At lot of sport horse studs don't bother with web pages as breeding selection is often done by word of mouth, sales results, show results and nearest stallion.
Super artical about Slyguff Stud in this months eventing, sorry that isnt much help to you really. They do not have a web site but if you google them I am pretty sure you will manage to get a phone number, think it would be Barbara you would need to speak to.
He is definitely on the IHB site as he is fully approved. Go to www.ihb.ie then click on stallions online, go into the "irish sport horse" section and they are in alphabetical order. There is a phone number for the stud.
He gets a great reputationa nd master imp hismelf was a first class stallion. Kings Master was also the sire of the Supreme champion at royal dublin show in 2005- Connswater river as well as the sire of the working hunter champion at it last yr- Kings Cavalier.
well from experience of bringing it over form holland etc it is a bit of a hassle with airport regulations etc if it needs flown as by the time it goes thro the x-ray machine etc the potency of the semen is destroyed. If you cud get it over some other way it would maybe be better!
