Anyone tried these? On special offer from Derby house very discounted. I've ordered some but can cancel as they're not in stock until the 20th.

They look pretty good for everyday riding and I need to replace the mountain horse high riders I lost in the flood last year!!

I've just bought the newtyle ones , got them for £50 in there sale , had to wait 3 weeks for them but worth it , they are stiff to start with but mine are loosening off nicely already very nice to ride in , think you will like them and worth the wait at that discount , mine where also delayed a further week so they gave me a £10 voucher aswell so £250 boots effectively cost me £40 .

i bought them, waited over 3 weeks for them whilst Derby House took my money out straight away  got them, fit was awful and now £12 out of pocket from having to return them!! I wasn't impressed with them at all.

Ooh great I am pleased. My old mountain horse ones were so comfy but trashed and I've not ridden since until today. I rode in my toggi boots today (new share horse) and they were pretty clumpy so I saw these and thought they looked fab. I've paid £59.99. I'm about a 5 1/2 so ordered a 6. Are they true to size?

Yes I found them true to size , I would wear them about the house to break them in first as we're stiff around the ankles but like any boots they just need broken in.

I tried them in store last week, they look good quality and well made but I am a 6 with Im told  big calves lol and they were too big on me. My friend who struggles to get boots to fit round her calves zipped them up no prob.

I've got the St Andrew version and love them!

The only thing I would say is that I'm quite tall, and slim, and they where a perfect fit, I think smaller people might find them too long.

I second that I'm 5'7" and they are long , don't know if they will slouch over time like the dubarray ones ?

Mine have slouched a little, but nowhere near as much as my cavallo's did, they also "wore in" really quickly too.

Hi there am new to this forum but looking to get some of these boots from Derby House as are still on offer but am only 5'2 and wear a size 5 and worried they may be too long for me! They are such gorgeous boots though and really want a pair of these or similar! Any advice from any shorter people out there at all? Also have 32cm very skinny calves, are these quite slim fitting? According to size chart i should be ok i hope lol! Any advice would be grateful received thanks in advance.

I have a pair which I got in September last year, I polished them with "G Wax" an outdoor walking shoe leather wax to condition/waterproof, before I first wore them and every couple of weeks for the first couple of months, much less often now! They were a little stiff around the ankle to start but once worn in (didn't take too long with some good socks) they are sooo comfy I wear them all the time round the yard, riding, I love them! I find them comfy and do help to keep my leg warm, especially good with some thermal socks. I got mine for £60 and they are worth it in my eyes - my last pair of boots that I bought for £60 before these didn't last long, and were not good quality - these the leather seems good quality to me, if looked after I think they will last. As you can tell, I'm very happy with mine :) Would love to get one of the Kinpurnie ones in black, as mine are brown. Hope you like yours! :D

Love my boots. Wear them daily and they were a bit stiff to begin with but gave softened up. They were a little long but have dropped now. I bought some heal raisers which sorted that for me. I could probably get rid of them now but they're comfy so I leave them in. Love my boots though.

I have these boots and I love them - they were stiff to start with but now very comfy, and always come up looking really nice after polishing/waxing them. They took a little while to fully wear in (started with really thin socks then thick ones for winter) I am 5'6" and don't find them too long. I've had mine 18 months and still look really good and not too worn, think they'll last well

Well obviously a really bad quality boot.
Why can't these suppliers be honest when we need a waterproof /ridable /casual boot advertise it correctly .
These are not cheap boots.
I will not be buying from Derby house ever again not these boots.

If they haven't lasted a year it's worth contacting Derby house. I had some of the deluxe boits and the sole cracked after only about 3-4 months. They told me to return them which I did and I got a full refund including the postage to send them back.

Thank you I had only worn these boot for 1hr and blistered my heals so badly bleed .
They are not fit for propose but not damaged so Derby house will not do anything.
