Seen a couple of Kinsky youngsters today, I always believed that their colours were the same as "normal" in that they had the dilute gene, but with the added metallic in their coat that gave them their sheen.
The person I was talking to today was insistant that they had a "Gold" gene, which is why such a large percentage were their colour.
Is there a specific gene in the Kinsky, or am I right that it is the usual dilute gene?
