Kissing Spine Update almost 6 months post surgery

well its been almost 6 months since Moose had his KS surgery we are 4 weeks awat from the end of our water treadmill and we have had our hocks injected now. Finally I can say we are walk trotting and cantering. Here are some awesome photos of his water treadmill and a pic of me riding. I hope that this helps everyone who is about to go through this experience it is worth it!





I never thought six months ago I would ride him again and here we are 6 weeks off our first show
 
its nice to hear success stories!! I am surprised they suggested the water treadmill with hock issues as this usually exacerbates the issue?

his hock issues are very mild and only in one hock they recommended the water treadmill to help bulid his muscle as it is gentle and the take the strain off of most of him. He loves treadmilling we are not going to trot him. I chose to treat his hocks as with his schooling he was finding it hard to get his hock underneath himself
