If I hadn't been in the situation I am in now I might have thought it was a trend. The actual fact is that diagnosis and science have improved.
My horse went from saint to sinner in a matter of months. He was fine tacking up but went from a do anything to rearing and striking the air hysterically even mounting upset him.
Vet said it was likely some trauma had damaged a ligament in the spine.
It was not GA it was standing surgery with a local and it was keyhole surgery. He is so much happier now. I didn't take the decision lightly no owner does. I committed to solving his pain and doing his rehab It's not easy but he is worth it.
