1. Has anyones horses symptoms been really dipping their back when you get on (very occasionally) but still working ok
2. Can the portable x ray machines scan the back or does it need the more heavy duty equipment?
3. After the operation, is box rest vital?
The reason I ask is my horse has started dipping his back, only done it twice in the last 2 months when Ive gone to get on, and has then been fine. Saddle has all been checked and he regularly sees the physio. Im just wondering if kissing spines could be an option, Ive got the vet out next week but wondering if its worth asking him to bring the xray machine.
As he also has spavins and coffin joint djd, he would really struggle if he had to be box rested for any period of time
Obviously, he may not have it but Id just like to be prepared if I need to add it to his list of ailments!
Thank you
