Well, hit the deck this morning!

Completely my fault, not horse! Not enough impulsion, she jumped big and me being complacent, came out the side door...

Should have worn my BP....grass wasn't wet luckily....and jump wasn't too big!

Friend caught horse who decided eating was much better than checking out my welfare....and after I caught my breath, giggled somewhat and removed myself from the crater I created, I got back on and we did it properly...

But I have lots of achy achys now!

Be nice.

Someone get me a hot chocolate please!

:p

I went out the side door at top speed on Thursday....my fault there too cos I was in la-la land.....

Luckily it was only witnessed by one dog walker and she only really saw my backside as it flew through the air and then staggered off after horse , who had bogged off home.

Have a brufen ;)

Easy done, i nearly got jumped out the saddle a few days ago, much to my coaches amusement, as he sniggered at my " Thelwell moment", i swear my feet hit the top of the stirrups lol, the object of the " mega leap" a bleddy plain pink plastic filler, tucked under a pole !! Never mind he'd already cleared a coloured swirly one and a purple sripey one, but the pink was obviously a bit dodgy looking :-)

Hot choccies and brufen's all the way! :D

Hot bath a bit later, got a riding club social tonight....AND Trec training tomorrow! They will be lifting me on with a crane I reckon, if I wake up ow-owing!

:p

Can I join the club? Kissed the dirt yesterday lol! I got the striding wrong for a little jump, horsey thought about putting in a teeny stride then bailed out. Me? I flew over the jump, had an 'OMG' moment as I flew through the air, and then landed fairly softly in the sand. ******.

Was rather impressed with my quick dusting off, getting straight back on and over the jump again (both of us this time)!!!

I am still suffering from my owwie on Monday. Mine is much more embarrassing; horse spooked as I was getting on! Shot forward and then launched into a broncing fit. Apparently that is what happened as I can remember being stood on the mounting block and then sitting down with a brew, but not the bit between!!!
At least you guys were actually jumping - I can't even get on the wretched beast properly!!

Radox (blue box) for the aches.
Arnica for the bruises.
Chocolate for the soul.

:)

Oooooo!

Lol! No annoying OH for me, but I could see my horse smirk as I looked up at him from the ground.

They are gits, that's for sure...

I feel for you. :(

I have to say, I was so happy that I could limp across to the mounting block and heave myself on again and she didn't move an inch....

Hope you get it sort out soon!!!

I had a brilliant one the other week... Came into a nice solid brush fence, ready for Geoff to take off as usual. Then, he didn't, and I realised we didn't have enough impulsion, prepared myself for a stop. Geoff went to jump, I went, oh no better catch up and folded, then he realised I wasn't with him and stopped. Somersaulted over his head thinking why had I not taken my bp with me... And landed on my feet!!!! Looked around in shock, then slowly started feeling like a boss... Disclaimer I am not flexible or gymnastic in any way, and as this will likely never happen again I am going to feel as boss as I can ;) x
