Can't think of anything else except I always take a bit of baler tie and a spare headcoller & rope and a pathetic first aid kit (consists of paracetamol, plasters, spare tail bandage and one of them hit it cold pack things). oh and some fly repellant?

A lorry would be wonderful... but will have to stick with shabby old trailer for now

I have a shabby old trailer, but I have a Tack Pack that came with it. Its fab, two saddles, bridles, whip, boots and hats, everything goes in it! Only problem is, my jumping saddle sticks out a bit, so usually it has to go in the car!
I wrote a list for my events this weekend, its HUGE, next weekends is even longer as well be away the whole weekend!
Horse passport is one of the most important. Not only is it illegal to travel your horse without it, they also do spot checks at affiliated events to make sure vaccinations are up to date. I went to an event a few weeks ago and luckily I keep mine in the lorry so I could produce it when asked but the vets said a lot of people couldn't and so were fined even if they could get someone to send a picture of it and match its microchip. If you couldn't produce it at all, then you weren't allowed to run.
I take spare shoes as mine has really tiny feet, far tinier than most event farriers would expect.
Girths x2 normal girth and stud girth
Hat x2 peaked for dressage, skull cap for jumping
