kk ultra - aurigan rings or stainless steel rings

Help! Does anyone know if it makes much difference whether you have the aurigan rings or the stainless steel rings? I've been lent an kk ultra which i've been really pleased with so am looking to buy one. The one i've been lent has aurigan rings but most of them for sale seem to have stainless steel rings. I have found one place which has them with aurigan rings but at a bit of a premium so now I'm wondering whether the premium is because it's better or should i save the extra money as it doesn't matter what material the rings are made of?!

i can't see how it matters at all, the mouthpiece is all that matters!
fwiw i think my KKs all have aurigan mouthpieces but stainless steel rings.

I borrowed a aurigan one when i was trying one and then bought one with the stainless steel rings,i found no difference at all.

I thought it was purely anout how it looked - an all aurigan one would look better with bridle with brass fittings??
Mine are all stainless steel versions
