KLH UK Arenas

Ive had KLH UK Arenas over today to give me a quote for my arena. He (Keith) seems to be very experienced and of course went through everything with us. We have now gone from having cushionride to sand and rubber for quite a few reasons as well as my own health, cant have a dusty surface.
What im wondering is have any of you have used to KLH UK Arenas?
how was the quote?
what surface did you go for?
how is it standing up to the weather?
have you had any problems?
if so what were they and have they been resolved?
what was the service like?
how long did it take to build?

oh if any of you can recommend a good arena building so we can get other quotes that would be great.

Hi, I can't give you any info on that company but we are just in the process of having an arena built. Ours started construction on 9th August and we are still awaiting its completion. Its been an utter nightmare. Make sure you take up references and go and see an arena they have built at least two of them. I wish I had taken up references with our company! Good luck.

9th August OMG thats a really long build.
KLH have given us a list of arenas that they have built and lots are quite near to us, so im going to ring some tomorrow and see if we can go have a look and maybe if poss see them being ridden in.

can i also ask how big your arena is and how much its costingyou? just wondering if the rough quote weve been given is about right

i think generally you get what you pay for. My nana always said "buy cheap, buy twice" - certainly that's the case with my arena. I'm going for sand with clopf fibre from Martin Collins - cheaper than sand and rubber and a far better surface (they gave me loads of reference sites to go to). Wish i had had them build my arena in the first place, but hindsight is a great thing.
