I have one (see my post a few post below about Dottie yearlinng) But she is only a baby. They do take a while to grow. My friend had one who was lovely. Very chilled out and a lovely boy. That is why I put my TB mare to a knab, hence my baby.
I had one on loan when I was younger and he was a great horse, he really looked after you when riding, especially when jumping. I had him in his older years tho so not sure what he was like when he was younger.
I have a 2 year old now and he is great too, very affectionate but very immature and very very stubborn. I def think he is going to take longer to mature both mentally and physically but he will be worth the wait. I totally recommend them!
I have a knapstrupper x - he is 5 and quite bum high at the moment, just wondered how long they took to mature. He isn't very forward going either, just hopping that will come when he grows into his frame?

The lady from the Knab society said they grow till 6+ so I wouldnt worry. Babies can very often be a bit backwards so I def wouldnt worry about that either. Have you got any pictures?
I used to be on a yard with a lady and her daughter that had a stallion and a colt, they were better behaved than most of the other horses on the yard, they had impeccable manners in the stable and field, were angels with the farrier and in the stable. Not sure if that helps at all?!
