My mare went down out hacking today, nothing serious little scrape but have invested in some knee boots...before doing some research
Am sending the ones I have bought back but now cant decide between three pairs

Jeffries, great reviews but can't see anything about their fit for canter work, do they slip during fast work.

Westropp knee and brushing boots, fab for not slipping but has anyone had anyone had a horse go down in them? I'm worried the knee part will flip back on itself anf not offer any protection.

Woofwear smart boots, look good but cant find any reviews at all.

I have mastered the art of landing on my feet after somesaulting through the air :D :p

I love the knee/brushing boots, after 6 or 7 years of every day use I've just bought another pair of someone on another forum. I love them, I do have the jefferies ones but tbh I don't think they're worth the money, I've only used my pair once or twice because the knee/brushing boots are much better

I have always had woof wear ones for my youngsters and rate them highly. Usually get them as new condition second hand (I have three times!) for half price.

I have the Jumper Horse Line ones - they have a large felt backing which provides a lot of coverage with leather knee pads providing extra protection. Elasticated leather straps as well.

I've found them to be durable, good quality and they seem comfortable for my mare as well as being pretty cheap to buy

I am a stickler for these old fashioned knee boots.

I hack out with them and can travel in them

I swear by the westrop knee brushing boots, my youngster wears them for hacking he has tripped once wearing them and he came off without a scratch.

Have ordered the westropp ones and also the JHL ones above. am watching some woof ones too :D

Have enough horses for them to all go on :)
