Well my mare decided to do a spread eagle impression on the road hacking the other day - luckily she didn't hurt herself (or me), but I've decided to invest in some knee boots for hacking. Can anyone recommend some knee boots please??

Westropp knee brushing boots. Really good, don't slip like traditional ones and protect the canon bone too.

Another vote for Westropps too. I started with ordinary knee boots and even though they were correctly fitted and done up, they always ended up around her ankles after a canter. The Westropps never moved even after we went swimming (not intentionally) in a lake and they were completely waterlogged. Plus you can just bung them in the washing machine every so often. And I don't see why you couldn't pair them with overreach boots and travel in them if you have one that doesn't mess about in the box...
