I have recently moved yards and I will now have to do a fair amount of road work to get to the off road hacking.
My boy is not the most sure-footed horse in the world and as well as getting the farrier to use road nails when shoeing I was thinking of getting him some knee boots?

Is there a certain way to fit them? any advice would be much appreciated!!

Thank you!

Depends on the type of knee boots u get, the skeleton ones just cover the knee, others protect the sides as well.

The top strap needs to be tight and the strap below the knee loose to allow the knee to move.

I have the gaiters ones which are brill. Hope this helps

Thank you Dianchi thats exactly what I wanted to know!!
