Ok, so new pony has a KNHS passport. I understand that they are sort of the BHS of the Netherlands and this means that her history before her registration with them is unknown. She has no breeding or breeder details in the passport, just her name, date of birth, first registered owner, passport number, microchip number and vaccination record.

So my question is, does anyone know how I contact the KNHS to ask them how I would go about putting a new owner name on the passport? Previous owner didn't so she's still registered to the first owner in the Netherlands. I've looked on the website b ut can't find anything other than a postal address. I'd like to email them first to check what they need!

Also, does anyone know if a KNHS horse would have to have been chipped or whether there's a possibility this was done before she was passported?

I think I know less about her now than I thought I did a week ago

Native Speaker - that was the page I found, but I couldn't work out if that form was the appropriate one to use or whether there would be another way to contact them! I might just give it a go...

Ah, to learn to speak Dutch.. :p

Contact BEF they can do overseas passports for you

"Non-UK EU Passports
If your horse already has a non-UK EU passport, the BEF can update it for you. For instructions on how to do this and to download a form "

linky - http://www.bef.co.uk/Useful_Information then go to the paragraph I've copied in a there is a link to a word document telling you what to do.
