Know of any celebrity riders??

Ihotse - QEII isn't a bad rider and apparently one or two of her family ride too.....

Doesn't her granddaughter have an Olympic medal or something? Then there is the daughter with a European title for eventing, who was also a jockey and president of the rda, the son in law who coaches the US eventing team and builds courses, the husband who was a pretty respectable polo player before becoming a champion in driving trials, the son and grandson who play polo etc etc ;)

Charlie Watts from the rolling stones also breeds Arabs.

It's his wife Shirley that's the enthusiast behind Halsdon Arabians - the best of the best Polish lines! But Charlie is a fantastic supporter and doesn't look like a Rolling Stone when he's at Malvern!!

Also the Queen, Price Charles, Camilla, Anne, Zara, William, Harry etc etc. Madonna, Deborah Meaden, Paul McCartney, Elvis, Ronald Reagan - the list is endless tbh!

Isn't Kate Middleton learning too?

Yes despite being allergic to horses.

Guess the royals are hoping that history doesn't repeat itself, Diana didn't ride before marrying charles, she had lessons and ended up having an affair with her instructor (Hewitt)! Diana's dislike of horses apparently meant that Charles and Camilla were able to meet up on the hunting field.

All of the royals are pretty accomplished riders. The Queen and Prince Phillip have also had success as breeders in many spheres. As well as race horses, driving horses, polo ponies and show ponies the eventer Doublet was bred by HM.

Ian Somerhalder, he used to be a trainer until he became an actor. Also has a huge worldwide charity for animals and the environment

Sarah Harding

OP - as you've included Toni Terry in your post, who is not a celebrity , you could also include other wives of well-known people i.e. Lucy Henman; Madeleine Lloyd-Weber for example. Jilly Goulden rides too

William Shatner (Captain Kirk from Star Trek) breeds and shows American Saddlebreds, he's quite a good rider actually. Most actors will have to ride at some point, but it don't make 'em riders!
