How long do they last with your dogs?
Do your dogs chew on them (with food in) when you leave?

I've just replaced ours as Sams had it 6 months and its now snapped in two.
I can put any food in and leave him chewing on it but the minute I leave the house he leaves it. As soon as I'm back in the house, he'll finish the food.

I got the extreme x-large as it was an extreme Large that he had last time. He's not happy that I've thrown the last one out!

Bax doesnt care for kongs, some of the kennel dogs have them and I reckon they last about 3 months of very regular use, up to a year if the dogs dont touch it much. Of course there is always the odd lunatic that chews it mercilessly for a week and then eats the pieces :D

We had ours for a good two years and it lived in the bottom of the pond for a couple of months as buddy thought it would be great to drop it in there. Never had the problem with them splitting and it got fairly abused by the dogs lol.

Not sure if I was just lucky but have had no problems.

No problems here, I have two XXL Extremes and a Kong Dental XL (wish I'd had this one first as the hole is smaller and it takes him much longer!!!) with no issues, as mentioned my pup is a hardcore chewer and destroys all other toys and balls.
I freeze mine and he gets about two a day.

Oh and CC - thanks for the feeding advice.
I got to the store today and they have quite a selection of Arden Grange in local store :d so got a bag of this and for now am mixing it with his wagg. Figured this was the least of the two evils (switch food suddenly or continue using icky food and gradual change). He got this mixed tonight and actually looked like he was enjoying his food for a change. Will let you know how we get on with it :D

My collie has a Kong, well, actually it's called Patrick, the Kong that is!! If you ask for it by name, he will pick it up. He likes a piece of cheese in there, whereby he throws it up in the air and waits for the cheese to drop out when it hits the ground. He's had it for years.
He has names for all his toys!!

I haveloads, as hav one of very size (well 2 of some sizes) for the rescue dogs when I crate them, I have never had any destroyed, I do however lift hem whn im home ad never leave them down other than whe im out andthey re crated.
I usually fill the with sardines/tuna/primula cheese or lately (tripe)
