been saving up for konigs for soooooooo long! finaly persuaded my dad to pay the rest of the way and think they MIGHT be comming tmoz (yay) but they didnt have my size calf, they only had 38cm and im 36cm

but im gunna try them anyway and might have to send them back and get made to measure (10 weeks

does anyone else have Konigs?
is it worth getting made to measure or does it not matter a few cms here or there?
is it worth the wait?!

i've been doing vigorous calf exercises as an attemp to make them bigger but not sure if its going to help much its just making my calfs hurt

Its definitely worth having them made to measure. It is painful enough breaking in ones that fit right, I can't even begin to imagine how badly fitting ones would feel!!!

Congratulations though, they are amazing boots.
 
I would advise getting made to measure ones. These boots are going to last you a long time and you want to be comfortable. The Konig man from Holland measured me and its about a 5 week wait but at least you know they will fit.
 
I have Konigs & they will be 12 year old now & still look like new! They are so worth their money & even more so being made to measure!
 
My friend has both, made to measure and off the peg. She loves the made to measure but has only worn the others a couple of times as they are just too big arround her foot.
 
thanks for posting, tried some on in derby house the other day and it fitted perfectly round the foot but they didnt have my size leg so i ordered some of classical dressage and all the other measurements are right, its just the calf thats a bit big but i'll hopefully find out tmoz..
