Saddle fitter visited yesterday and confirmed what I thought, getting saddle for new horse is not going to be straight forward. He only young so will go through several shape changes and has such a big shoulder but with high narrow withers we've had to go with a medium fit saddle but need a Korrector pad to give him maximum comfort around the wither area. She has said that once he starts to build up muscle/top line the Korrector pad will allow us to make any changes necessary. Just wondered has anyone used one of these pads before, and if so are you pleased with the results?

I bought one while I was waiting for my wow to come and was very happy with it. Its a bit difficult knowing how much air to put in but otherwise they are fine. They say you can fill the bags by yourself when mounted but I couldnt!!

It certainly kept my girl happy and there was no bucking so it was obviously working! You can only use them on saddles that are slightly too wide. They also have stupid leather ties to tie it to d-rings on saddle and the pad is a bit difficult to attach to the saddle at first but its just a knack really and you get used to it. Mine is also a material one but I think they only do leather ones now so they are more expensive.

I personally think they are a really useful bit of kit to have around if you cant have a wow saddle. I can also use mine under the wow if she changes shape and I cant get the fitter out.

I got mine from ebay but if you go that route make sure it comes with instuctions. And check whether it is GP or dressage.

Saddler has ordered leather one and has promised to show me how to pump air into it etc. Not the cheapest of items to buy but if it does the job then it's money well spent.

Would love to be able to buy WOW saddle (unfortunately bank account says no at the moment) but using the pad alongside saddle with changeable gullet seems to be the best way forward. Glad it seems to be working for you.
