This is my first comp report for nearly a year, after all the problems with poor Mouse.
Anyway as some of you may know i brought an ex-race horse in May straight from his trainers yard, i gave him 2 months off to chill and have a break and build a bond with him before we started his re training to a riding horse.
Well ive been on him 8 weeks now, we did a month of walk and then introduce the trot work, all was going ok and he seemed quite chilled so decided it was time to start getting him out and about, so last weekend we took him to Patchetts to do the walk, trot test and he won it with 57% i was over the moon with him, he was a star, his behaviour was fantastic, he was a little tence and tight in the test and was having a good look around but i was expecting that as it was all very new to him.
Today i took him to South Bucks R.C show again just doing the walk, trot test as we only started the canter on Monday and it needs a little work!!
Again he was fab, didn't put a foot wrong, warmed up beautifully and felt a lot less tence in the warm up and in the test, i was very pleased with him, i was even more so when i found out he had won the class with 76% and got three 9's
he had also won it by 23% !
so im over the moon to how my little boy is coming along and taking to all of these new experiences.
Thanks for reading, Sorry report was so long
Pics from today
Quick run threw of test
I seriously need to sit up
This is from 4/5 weeks ago, bless him!
