Are these any good? I need a new pair of country boots for the Winter, I suffer from Reynauds in my feet so I need something that will at least keep my feet dry. I currently have Dublin Country Boots for the Winter on the yard which have been great but they are now leaking at the crease. The best I've had are Dubarrys but I just can't warrant the price of them for tredging about stables and fields everyday!

I found they leaked at the crease within weeks. Sorry.

I have found Dublins last months.

But it’s pretty naff. Trying to work out what to do this winter, whilst getting soggy feet in the morning dew in a pair of Dublin river boots that have barely had 6m wear, if that.

I've looked at these, I buy riding tights from there which i love but never tried the boots. I wouldn't be looking for 100% waterproof, I've got some Noble Muds for that..

How does the sizing come up? I'm 6/39 in Ariat but 6.5/40 in some other brands.

I've always found all the country boot types too baggy on the calf as I want to ride in them as well. Nothing worse for cold feet than having to change into cold boots to ride. A few years ago I decided just to wear my old insulated Bromonts for everything as I thought they didn't have long left anyway. They have now done 3 winters of all yard work and muddy fields and I think they'll do at least one more. Incredible boots. When they eventually die I will look for another second hand pair to do the same again.

Oh dear. Not sure what to do now. I thought about trying to get a good second hand pair of Dubarrys or Ariats. Maybe better just spending the money in the long run. I wore my old Dubarrys until they were worn out, I still have a pair but I like to keep them for 'good'! ie walking round shows etc.
