Can anybody help?

I've just tried a horse with a KWPN passport, she was imported last year. If I bought her, where would I register this passport? Do I need to contact the KWPN in Holland? I would really appreciate any help on this one?

I haven't bothered, have just written my own name and address in the back. If you do decide to send it off anywhere then make sure to take a copy of it first.

I have a KWPN with a passport that I wanted transferred into my name and the KWPN Society replied with the following:

Ensure that the diagram on page 5, the written description details of horse and microchip (if applicable) on page 4 are correctly filled in and stamped and signed. This must be done by your veterinary surgeon.

To help us identify the horse you must enclose a clear colour photograph of:

a) Full side-on view of the horse both sides 1x.
b) The full front of the head 1x.
c) The legs. Fore legs (from front) 1x, Hind legs (from rear) 1x.

To make it possible to verify the descent of the horse by DNA test, you need to take a hair sample of the horse.

Fill in the enclosed form with your personal, payment details. IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS I WILL EMAIL IT TO YOU. PM ME.

Send the original passport + A4 original registration papers (This is the paper containing the pedigree details), photos, hair sample and enclosed form with your details and payment to the KWPN, P.O. Box 156, 3840 AD HARDERWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS.

KWPN will make the passport legitimate by stamping and signing it.
