Hi just wondering if anyone has any experience of these bits? They seem as though they would be kind for a sensitive mouth but I can't seem to find many reviews or very much info about them on the net. Also they are very well priced - does this reflect the quality or just the fact that they are steel? Thanks in advance :)

I have KY rotary double jointed loose ring snaffle for my big mare, she goes SJ & XC in it. I like the idea behind the independent motion of each side of the bit. She did do her flatwork in it too but we swapped her to a regular hanging cheek with lozenge and find the contact a little better for us personally for the dressage in that. I'm tempted to buy a KY hanging cheek double joint now for the DR to try. Like anything I guess, it isn't a miracle worker, but I think mine goes nicely in hers for jumping and responds well to light commands in it :).

Thanks for that :) there aren't many reviews but the ones I have read are all positive. It's the double joint hanging cheek I am looking at getting - hoping it will let him relax a bit and have a bit more confidence x
