I may have the opportunity to borrow the above vehicle, its a 2.5 diesel

Does anyone have one, is it nice to drive and tow with?

I would be interested in realistic mpg not the official figures!

My partner has one. He says it's good to drive and tow with. 24/25 mpg (we live in hilly west yorkshire).

My OH has one that I use for towing. It happily tows my 2 horses - one is 17hh and weighs 650kg, the other is 16hh and is a 850kg heavy horse - so not a light load! Easy to drive, turn and reverse. No idea on mpg I'm afraid.

We have one, they're a big vehicle with plenty of power, comfortable to drive, downside is a hopeless turning circle, you need plenty of room with a trailer up.

One horse I get 25mpg , 2 horse 18 mpg

Tows fine but lousy mpg and poor turning circle.
