Lab looking for a home

I think if you’ve giving up an animal, their welfare is the most important thing so I’m a little peed off on his behalf and on behalf of Fidgety. I know we don’t have all of the details, but if the owner is re-homing the dog, how come geographical location is relevant and how come the owner gets a say? The gorgeous SpottyTB drove an obscene distance to re-home a friend’s lab, she is as far south west as you can get, the dog was in Hertfordshire.

Sorry, just frustrated on Fidgety’s behalf.

*Whistles Dixie at Alec and proffers gin*.

Echo what cinnamon says really. They clearly have done wrong by the animal in the first place and don’t want it and anyone using a shock collar should be givin a ban from owning animals in my opinion. Such a shame for the poor dog.

I am really gutted. I cannot see that the owner has any rights at all as to his future, apparently he feels bad about the treatment dished out to the dog. Mmm...
I have to stop thinking about him, as it will do my head in, so will 'Do an Alec', but if I hear any news in passing in the future I will let you all know.

Thanks everybody for your support and to you Clodagh for doing your best for B. You know how sick I'm feeling at the idea of what his future might hold but for my own sanity I'm going to join you, CT and Alec. Just tell me to close my eyes and not open the thread if it's anything other than good news for him x.
