labradoodle owner?

I think dog lovers should all be welcome; but save yourself and don't get into any of the breeding debates there are some strong views around on that. Mainly from people who have seen the worst side of doggy life and have opinions based on what they have actually witnessed. I actually always follow those debates as I think there is a lot to learn. We happy dog owners can not ignore the "other" side!

However, practical advice questions and woo hoo ... my dog just did blah blah posts always get a good response. It is a nice forum and although some people come across quite strong, it is always based on a passionate love for dogs; even if you don't agree with some people you can admire their strength of feeling!

You have my sympathy then.
I have been a Liverpool fan for 40 years so I have seen the good, the bad and the downright ugly!! Still love 'em though.

sorry, i have confused you.
the 1st pic is Scooby as a pup.
the third pic he is about 12 mths.
now he is nearly 3.
will post some up to date pics soon.

Ella looks lovely btw:)

i take it as an owner of a labradoodle, i will not be welcome here?;)

If they can put up with me, you will come as a welcome relief, I'm sure!!:D

A mate of mine has a Labradoodle, it bellows like an Otterhound (and sort of resembles one), it stinks, and it's absolutely useless, BUT, he adores it, and that's good enough!!

You will be made welcome by some of the nicest people who you will meet on this forum.

Alec.

I deal with lots of lab x poodles, we rehome lots and I board alot, I actually have one in now boarding:p
I certainly don't dislike folk who have them or the dogs themselves, most are delightful, I just don't like the whole "healthier/non shedding lies that are attached to them or the mass money being made by back street breeders.;)

Lovely piccies:)

We got ours from a wonderful breeder (in our, and many others, opinions.)
we are now looking to find him a playmate.
recent searches have shown, our current first choice a schnauzer, to be only very slightly cheaper.

having said that.
prior to buying Scooby, we visited a breeder, and very nearly bought a dog (mainly cos we fealt sorry for it), but something did not quite seem right.
i believe we had a very lucky escape that day.
i reckon this was a Puppy farm.

cheers Alec ;)

beautiful dog!;)

Thank you, we think so. He is also just as beautiful on the inside. We are very lucky, he is a lovely dog. Just like Stig, Luka lies on his back with all four feet in the air, and likes nothing better than having a cushion carefully placed under his head!!! It must be a doodle thing.

Oldson, sorry I'm easily confused nowadays. All lovely dogs, Scooby, Stig and the handsome Dood from StableMum.

Wish mine would bark Alec I keep trying to train her to 'speak' and the number of deliveries I miss 'cos she just looks out of the window at them wagging her tail. Maybe when she finds her voice she'll sound like an Otterhound.

Off topic I see the Aussies have rebranded the Tegan Park and Rutland Park breeding lines as Cobbadogs...hmmm? (not much better than Labradoodle)
