I could harp on about the excellent qualities of standard poodles all day

. Friendly, intelligent, willing, people-orientated, very loyal. Not sure about labradoodles, but did meet an enormous one a couple of weeks ago. Very energetic, but gorgeous temperament. He was only young so bags of energy to burn. Nice looking dog... but huuuge. Am sure they are not normally that big

Looking forward to seeing pics too.

My YO has a labradoodle, it looks like a scruffy lurcher but has a wonderful friendly temperament.

Its a very good gun dog but does tend to ignore the recall and feign deafness sometimes!

Locally to here there is a person who seriously breeds them and they fetch an awful lot of money - in fact at the local dog show they have their own dedicated ring!

Well, Ollie does seem to have LOADS of energy - much to the disgust of my older Dally LOL

The cat has given him a bit of a slapping because we came a little bit too close to his dinner bowl

- Indi, the cat, is a very big British Blue that taken no prisoners - poor Ollie

Will defo get some piccies on here - I will get my older daughter to post them on later if possible.

Not sure if he will be a big one - mom was a medium choc Lab and dad a standard choc Poodle - mind you saying that, his paws a very large and do their own thing

- we'll have to wait and see

Oh, he's so lovely!

Ohhh he sounds gorgeous, I cant wait to see pics. I was very tempted with a Labradoodle but we have now fallen in love with standard poodles. He sounds like a lot of fun though, very lucky!!
