My black lab had part cruciate tear 3 months ago, the vet did not operate and he has had cartrophen injections and metacam.

As I have horses and have seen shockwave ad ultrasound used to good effect
on ligament/tendon injuries I wondered if anyone had tried this kind of thing and if they know of anyone west mids/worcs based who does it

Sorry to hear about your lab's injury and I'm afraid I can't help as regards shockwave and ultrasound treatment. However, my mum's black lab had the same injury and he is now quite sound after having a lot of hydrotherapy (swimming!). My mum took him to a pool for treatment once a week but otherwise rested him - just 15 mins of lead walking a day. After 4 - 5 weeks of swimming he was back to normal saving a costly operation!
Hope your dog soon makes a full recovery.
