Labrador Puppies

For the first time ever i have two litters at the same time (see "Pug Puppies"

). Mum Cassia wasn't due in season til the end of the summer but the pug being in season brought her in several months early

Still, it means we have summer, not winter pups, and we get it all done with at the same time!!

These little angels were born on Wednesday morning, 5 girls and 5 boys:

They are mostly Charway lines (i LOVE charway!) mum also has Lougin in her pedigree though and dad has Naiken

They are gorgeous, wishing mum and pups a healthy and happy future. I would love a little black lab pup, but not sure if hubby would let me. He keeps telling me one mad yellow lab is enough, and there isnt room on the sofa for another one!!

We had 2 litters of HWV two weeks apart - NEVER again lol. Fine until you start weaning and it comes out faster than it goes in - esp. when there's a total of 17 pups lol. JRT litter with HWV litter happened a few weeks apart before but that's easier because they're smaller any way.

Thanks all!! We certainly have plenty to go around for everyone...!!lol We have several lovely homes lined up already which is fantastic, one lucky girl will be going to a new home with her mums litter sister Millie which is always nice when people come back for another

I am entirely biased but i think Cassia is just a stunner too. She is exactly what we've always bred for so im hoping these babies will turn out rather special

Here's some pictures of Cass tken about half an hour ago. You have to drag her away from her pups, but once she was out she really enjoyed it

They are absolutely gorgeous! We already have a 17 week old black lab who is crazy otherwise I would have one like a shot - maybe when this one is a bit more grown up I can pursuade the husband we NEED another puppy!
