this is our new labrador puppy Layla (special thanks to Cruiseline for the name idea!!) She is now 9 weeks old and has made good friends with Bailey our 2 year old Rottie (who at some point I believe, possibly by age 9 will mature bodywise)

I hope you don't mind my completely self gratifying post, but I know you all like puppies

(I just hope the photos work!)

thank you, yes he has always been a bit of a gleamer! if you look at the sofa you can just make out a paw of my female rottie, THAT is as close to Layla as she gets. Jazmine does not do puppies

that's dogs for you, always leaving random paws around the house. Puppy has slept an awful lot today, I think she wore herself out yesterday doing her whirling dervish impersonation.

oh you two!! (insert muttley floating smiley here flh)..I have to say Bailey is rather scrummy, so worth all that eating of me and beating me into submission that we went through

He is my "little" shadow and follows me everywhere (and no not just to the fridge)

I like Leila's scarf, she is very fashion conscious! I have to admit I like it when they are a little bit older and not so nibbly or pee ridden, but on the other hand the fun they have and see in life as a puppy is unmissable she had me in hysterics today as I bought her a boomer ball and she was having so much fun
