Lacking Definition....

Hey Guys,

A quickie, my lad is being exercised at least twice a week at mo, either a good 1-1.5hrs hack, 20mins lunging in a pessoa or 30-40mins schooling.

He is lacking muscle/definition around his bum/flanks.

In fairness the work has only just started over the past 2months - how long until I see a marked improvement - his back end view looks horrid .. he 'slopes' in around the flanks from his hips down

Any ideas to improve this area? I try and exercise more than twice a week but with new job I'm finding my days are nights and nights are days so a bit upside down! (shift work!)

Is good for when you want to hack out, other than that when you are schooling really concentrate on engaging the back end with transitions and circles and some lateral work

Hmmm the problem there is we have no hills!!!

One long hill on the main road with some hairy bends so we tend to void that route. Thanks tho.
