I am mildly surprised that a thread has not been started concerning the murder of Pennie Davies at Beaulieu in the New Forest.
This lady was, according to all reports feeding her ponies and then murdered by stabbing and three people have been arrested in connection with the murder, although as yet they do not appear to have been charged.

One wonders what could possibly motivate somebody to stab to death a lady 'doing' her horses in a field. Seemingly in broad daylight. There is something very unusual about this matter.
As folk keeping horses who post on this board, many in exactly similar circumstances, we should all express our sympathy to Pennie's family and five children.
Also to be mindful of security.
