I am looking for my horses original breeders and according to his passport he came from Lakeland Equestrian Centre, does any one have any info on them?
Thank you have also posted in breeding forum.

Ah sorry I should have said.... I don't think this is the same Lakeland Equestrian, it's certainly not at the same address as it was originally. I don't really want to post too much information but the surname of the breeders is Oakden according to the passport. And while my horse is really lovely (to me!!) he's not quite of the quality of some of the horses on that site so would be surprised if that was them

Ah, ok. If you google the surname and Lakeland equestrian then you get some LinkedIn profiles which you could email. Good luck :)

OP - was the Lakeland Equestrian you are talking about what near Troutbeck, Windermere?

The Lakeland Equestrian in his passport is in Field Broughton, Grange over sands, not sure if this is nearby? My horse is also 10 which was another reason to not think this was the same place. I'm only really wanting to find out a bit more about his breeding abd would just like to get in touch.

No Field Broughton isn't near Troutbeck, but I think that the Oakdens used to have Lakeland Equestrian which is near Troutbeck and I think it's now called Lakes Pony Treks.

I have found an email address that I think is for one of them, I hope it is one of them or they will think I'm a complete nutter! :D

Thank you so much for all your help!!
