lame foalie again

Little Jasper was lame about two weeks ago for a couple of days then he was fine. He had a little heat in his knee. Today he's really lame again, no heat in leg or hoof! im stumpted! Do you think he keeps jarring himself helling around the field? Would you just wait and see how he goes?

depending on how lame he is like if hes really lame -can hardly walk i would get the vet out but if hes not too bad i would wait and see how he is and call out the good old vet if hes still not right or if it gets worse but im no expert

personally, I wouldn't leave anything to chance with such a young animal. Do right by him and get the vet out!

Just in case of joint ill, it would always be best to play it safe and get an expert opinion.

Echo the others, lameness in a foal is a definite vet call out, no matter if it is intermittent, you don't take any chances with youngsters.

How old is he and does he have any slight deformity in his legs? I have to agree with those who suggest getting the vet sooner rather than later.
