Sooooo got to the stables last night to find tober conked out as per usual in his stable.
As I walked him out after he'd got up he was noticeably lame so took him round the yard just in case he'd lay on it funny, not sure if horses get dead legs? Ha. Asked one of the girls to have a look at him and she thought it was the same leg as what I did. Took him in the school for a strecth and was no better so he got the night off!
There's no swelling, heat, punctures and he's in a field on his own but he's a typical TB and could injure himself on a daffodil if he tried. I did lunge him thursday evening and was spooked by the yard owner being a k**b with a ladder so he did have a cavort round the school so can only think he's pulled a muscle of some sort.
So ... no going to his ex racehorse qualifier tomorrow
no riding for me in this amazing weather
annnnnd i'm in work from 3pm - 11pm tonight
DEPRESSING!! Although I do now get a cheeky lie in tomorrow and ginger will have to surcome to a bath !!
Is anyone else venturing out this weekend?
