Got my 4 year old in from the field to ride him yesterday. Gave him a little lunge first as he can be fresh - sound. Got on him gave him a walk round and start trotting and he was lame in front - only slightly - came back to walk and he still felt slightly lame. So I got off and trotted him up on the concrete- really lame!!
Checked both front legs and there is no heat, swelling, picked all his feet up and no obvious pain. Gave him a danilon and left him in over night.
Trotted him up this morning and he is still not quite right, checked all his legs again and still no heat or obvious pain all his legs are normal!
What would you do? Only slight lameness.....but it's so frustrating!
Thanks
