Hi my horse Tia is coming back from a leg injury and has been declared fit for work. However recently she has been refusing to canter or when canterrig throwing her head up and threatenning to rear, obviously we now believe she is in pain, after many hours of trying to see if it was a behavioural thing due to having time off. At the moment she is in a slightly stronger bit as can be difficult now (didnt used to be) but we are vry worried it could be to do with her back as there is no lameness on any particular leg. Now having to give more time off untill we know the problem. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with her? Feet are fine (shod every 5 weeks) had physio out said she is very stiff on one side but have been doing exersizes teeth just done and will have saddles checked. Dealt with vets far too much over the past couple of months, and dont know what to do. Refusing to canter looks lame like 1\10 in trot on one rein and now very difficult any ideas?
Sorry for the bad format done on phone. Thanks!!
