My mare is 5 months in foal. She is 16hh RID and I have put her to a 17hh RID stallion, and very much looking forward to the result. She has had two foals before I owned her. She had lameness for 18 months in off fore and I decided to turn her away for a year when the insurance ran out. She has just tweaked "that" leg again and was hopping lame last week but slowly improving.

Does anyone else have experience of lameness in in-foal mares and whether the extra weight will be a problem. I am worrying! But I've been doing that for 18 months and I don't think there is anything I can give her. She is a naughty girl and does ballet in the field occasionally. Any tips?
