lame on circle and under saddle.

I had a horse with similar symptoms. He was diagnosed with early onset coffin joint disease, and rotated pedal bones in both fronts.

One for your vet I'm afraid.
 
My girl had similar symptoms over about 3 months. Was fine trotting up (in a straight line) and also in walk on a circle but was bi laterally lame in trot on a circle. I tried giving her time off in the field as I don't believe in box rest (not long since been backed so was in only very light work anyway) teeth, back checked. After about 10 weeks I of her being no worse but no better I got the vet to her who sent her for an MRI from which she was diagnosed with moderate navicular, collateral ligament damage and some damage to her suspensory. That was in November. We've chosen the non traditional route of barefoot rehab at Rockley Farm and I'm hopeful for a full recovery. Hope it's something and nothing though and you get your pony sorted soon.

MRI will be about £1k but you need to rule out things first, nerve blocks need to be done to find out where the lameness originates, then xrays to look at the bones before going for MRI which can only target a small area so you really have to know where to target otherwise it is an expensive exercise with possibly no answers.
When I had one lame in it's near fore, diagnosed by nerve blocks to the foot, nothing showed on xrays so I was advised to rest for a month, well light work as he was less than 1/10th lame, if he was not sound at the end of that month then he was to be referred for MRI but he came right, as we suspected it was just some deep bruising and time was all he required.
