Lame pony

Just wondered if any of you lot could enlighten me on why my ponys lame!
I personally think he knew i was going to the tweseldown sponsered ride, so he made him self lame just in time

! Cancelled now !
Well we have a feeling it might be lami but not 100%. He will put weight on all legs but then he limps occasionally and wont put weight on his front right leg, but then this changes and he goes back to his hind left leg being sore and lifting it up. He's on box rest at the moment. Anyone got any ideas?

Mine was funny last week and the vet said it was very mild laminitis, he wasn't showing any signs in his feet, but had a slightly raised pulse in 3 legs. I think box rest for a few days is the best, but if he isn't sound after a few days then further investigation would be advisable. If he's overweight I'd restirict his grazing until he's lost a bit.
