Lameness check after 5 months rest? (video)

Sorry for all the questions but why was vet not optimistic about hock injection? Mine showed little improvement on Bute but sound after injection.

Reason I ask is that I have a horse with hock arthritis and suspensory problems, and my vet wouldn't work up both on the same day, as the hock block can leak over the suspensories and make the horse trot up sound. I took him back the next day for the suspensories to be looked at, and they proved to be a bigger issue. The bunny hopping is a very "suspensory" thing !

Hi we were there for one morning. She was lame on the work up and because ofhow she was moving on the lunge and the vet not being keen on a nerve block as she was being fidgety with her legs, we X-rayed there and then. we are going back in a few weeks, its all a bit of a blur I couldn't believe it so I can't remember what was said, but I remember the vet saying even if we sorted the hocks other issues can then show up. We've been gently hacking since then.

Hi, cant remember exactly but bill was around £350 including 7 xrays but also had fees etc.

She said there was arthritic changes, i remember it wasn't a lot but vet said any amount can cause a lot of pain. It was a bit of a shock and a month ago so I have forgotten a lot of it, I am supposed to ring the vet to update so I will remember to ask for a rerun! :)
 
I have an updated lunge video, I have to ring the vet to see if there is any improvement. We have been doing 3.5 weeks on bute and light hacking. Today before this she took off cantering for the first time and I couldn't stop her(!!) so i did this as I was paranoid she'd go horribly lame. If anyone has seen the old vids or minds taking a look, does she look any better from the first vids? Thanks
