About 2 weeks ago I was riding my horse and he seemed quite reluctant to go forward and taking some short strides. I decided to give him a few days off and to see how he was.
I lunged him a few days later and her seemed completly fine, trotting forward, no shortened stride and wanting to go. I also lunged him on the hard aswell, he did the odd short stride and wasnt as forward, I got my YO to have a look and she suggested bute for a few days and see how he is.
So, few days on and he is exactly the same. I'm going to take him the vets and maybe have some xrays done....I just wondered wether anyone else had experienced the same thing and what the outcome was?
