Horse was dropped off at the clinic yesterday morning at 8am and no news from vet as to what might be the problem. They are doing nerve blocks and then scans/xrays.

Tried to call a few times and managed to speak to the receptionist who just keeps saying 'horse is still being worked on and the vet is with it right now'!

Surely they should have given some sort of indication by now??

When mine have been in the vet has always called me at the end of the first day if they are staying in even if it's just a run through of what's they have done as such, I would have expected a call yesterday to be honest even ifthey are none the wiser they can let you know what's will be going on for today.

Hope the news was something that can be helped.

I wouldn't leave my horse at a clinic.....if the horse needs to stay, I stay with it. I just need to know and be involved with everything, things can progress so fast, and i want to retain control over what is done!
