Lameness question

Not my horse thankfully!

Friend's horse has been slightly off for about a week or so, it's the left fore I think. There's no swelling, puffiness or heat in the leg, it seems to get worse the more she does with him (ie she lunged him lightly this evening and he was more lame at the end) anyone want to take a guess as to what if could be?

I believe she is going to get the vet tomorrow but she asked me to see if I could get some feedback from here as well.

Not enough info. Helps to know how old, a little history, etc, etc. Could be bruising, muscle soreness, arthritis, etc, etc.

There are SO MANY things it could be (unfortunately)
we can all only go on our own experience, and not saying I think it is the just to throwing a spanner in the works, my own horse has just come back from Leahurst, he was referred there with front right lameness, came home with hind PSD diagnosis
