I'm hoping someone might have some recommendations lameness specialist that would cover Hertfordshire?

My mare has been intermittently lame for the past year, recently this has got worse. I have used my vets to investigate for the last year, but, we have never been able to pin point any areas of grave concern other than a long back. We have back a specialist regularly and supportive shoes, other than this, I'm at a loss.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I cant recommend Luisa from H&j highly enough, i have no idea whether she would cover Hertfordshire but in your position i would box my horse there to see her. (they are in Essex so not far).

Sue Dyson is a well respected vet who has many years of experience with lameness issues. She was with the Animal Health Trust but left when in closed down it's equine research facility. Do a search on her and take a look at the work she has done.

She looks fantastic but has appeared to retire from full time employment. I cant find anything recent on her or any means of contact. Would you have any idea how i could reach out?

I think she's now essentially freelance but works out of Rossdales for work ups, diagnostics etc. You should be able to find her direct contact details online to request a referral.
