lameness week 5

5 weeks ago my horse was shod on the Wednesday was ridden on the Thursday and went for a hack on Friday only got 100 m down the road and was lame brought back and trotted up there was heat in hoof we thought access so polticed and tubbed but 5 weeks on we are. Still lame he has had nerve blocks and comes up sound from pastern Down . He is gradulay improveing but still lame he has no digital pulse and still a little heat .
Any one with any ideas would be great
Has no shoe on that foot and when shoe back on he goes lamer .

Sounds like nail bind/ and abscess if it happened just after being shod. I had one do the same and it took 5 weeks for him to come right and for an abscess to finally be diagnosed. I think the vet gave him some antibiotics to shift the infection at the end
