my friend just called, shes really worried - her horse is lame in both front legs, the vet came out last week and said box rest him, few days later he is no better, if not worse, she said he cant even trot on a circle its so painful.
he is going into the vets tomorrow for scans etc, but just wondering if anyone has ne ideas wat it could be, about to go and see her just wondered if u think its serious??

That's a very complex matter if you can't see anything with the naked eye. I don't think it's an easy answer and I'm afraid she will just have to wait for the scan results etc. Hope the vet can find the problem and treat it very soon. Good luck

Agree it's a difficult thing to make a guess about but lameness worsening after box rest is often a sign of arthritis. Hope your friend's pony is ok.
