Last week after an intense jumping lesson my horse was ever so slightly lame, tracking up as normal but just looking a bit stiff through back legs. Then a few days later she trotted up sound so I decided to ride, she was really lazy and genuinly not happy so got off imediatly knowing something was wrong. So gave her a week off work, but still going out into the field.
I trotted her up last night and she was sound, so rode her and she seemed perfectly fine, foward going etc I had someone on the ground to make doubley sure that she was ok. No sign of any lameness..... she is the sort to tell you if something is even slightly amiss.
I'm guessing it was strained musscles, but just want your opinion?
